This is my experience of attending physician assistant school, graduating and working as a PA-C. Mostly. I'll talk about the daily grind too - hopefully some of it will be interesting. Post a comment, please. Even if it is just to say hi or to ask a question. I am a busy PA-C, so I may not respond promptly, but I will eventually. This blog is as much for me as it is for you. Or is that the other way around?

Pile it on
My dad, who has a 70 pack year history just had to undergo emergent CABG. They bypassed 3 coronary arteries that were 90% occluded. He has come out of it as well as expected, but he is still really gorked. It's tough seeing your hard-ass, drill Sargent, bar brawling dad near comatose and helpless as a baby. It is tough having so much extra crap to think about.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I am really sorry for all the crap you are going through right now. As a fellow PA student I wanted to say that I too read your blog, but would understand if you stopped blogging. But dont haha! Keep your head up bud!
I feel terrible for you. This is a really stressful time, but once school is done life will become so much less stressful. This is totally out of line for me to say, since I know zero about you or your wife, but I think taking a break from each other while you're in school would be a good idea and then reevaluate once you're able to be a normal human being again and done with school.
Gosh, I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself as you deal with all of this. If only life stopped while we were in school... As M-R said, keep your head up. You've never met us, but we're all rooting for you. :)
